The Pawn, also spelled Paun, is the least powerful but most intelligent piece in Chess. It can move one square ahead per turn, but if the inexperienced player is not attentive enough to notice, it may keep going forward and run off the board (best case) or collide with enemy pieces (worst case). Traditionally, expended pawns are collected after the match is over and mailed back to the Chess factory in tiny coffins.

Each pawn, male or female, has his own Name and Backstory.
