When two veterans of Correspondence Chess meet in the same room/prison cell, they may prefer to play a game of Local Correspondence Chess.
Each player speaks his or their own move out loud, and it is up to his or their opponent to correctly hear the declared move and to move his or their piece.
Deaf participants may prefer to communicate their or their moves via sign language or notepaper.
